Adapting silvicultural practices for the benefit of forestry and the environment

The Adaptive Silviculture for Climate Change (ASCC) project will see the establishment of a series of seven silvicultural trials at sites representing varying types of forest ecosystem across the USA and Canada.

The multi-region initiative is a collaboration between scientists, land managers and other industry partners aimed at uncovering the long-term ecosystem responses to specific climate change adaptation actions.
