ForestTECHX – Canada

In early 2018 our first ForestTECH conference in Canada will focus on forest inventory, data collection and management and harvest planning. The technologies for automating the use of data from LIDAR surveys and harvester heads will be a key focus. Practical foresters will detail advances that have been in mobile data platforms, sensors and data analytics. Visiting experts will also speak on international best practices for collecting forest resource information from Scandinavia, Europe and Australasia. The annual conference series is organised by Innovatek in partnership with North America’s leading trade publications, Logging and Sawmilling Journal and TimberWest.
