Literature Review of Machine Stress Grading Accuracy Check Methods

The aim of this project was to determine if there were any international advances in Machine Stress Grader (MSG) accuracy checking techniques and or procedures that could be adopted/adapted to enhance current industrial MSG Accuracy Check methods.

The review focused on documenting international MSG practices with particular emphasis on controlling the grading accuracy of flat-wise bending type stress grading machines. The study tour focused on viewing first hand current MSG practices in the US and Europe.
