Mitigation of the UV-driven discolouration of reconstituted and dyed veneers

This project investigated discolouration of selected veneers exposed to UV light and effectiveness of various coatings currently used by the industry in maintaining colour stability.

The report provides recommendations to the Australian veneer industry for the enhanced durability and colour retention of natural, reconstituted and dyed veneers when exposed to UV light.
